As a child, did you prefer Nataraj Pencils or Apsara pencils?

While promoting, Apsara pencils were promoted as extra dark pencils while nataraj pencils were considered to be economic.
Many companies use this strategy Dove and Lifebuoy soaps both belong to Hindustan Levers.
Porsche and Volkswagen Cars both belong to the Volkswagen group.
This disadvantage of this strategy is that it is cost intensive to maintain both brands.
Many times the brand start competing against each other, but the same strategy is used by media organisations as well to appease people of different ideologies.
