About 20 years ago, the slogan had normal WINGS with single i

Then in America, a consumer sued the company claiming to the court that the company was lying.

After drinking Red Bull for 10 Years, he didn’t grow any wings. 

The company was lying.

A case of false advertising.

The judge found it to be a sensible argument.

Red Bull lost the case.

And the court awarded USD$ 13 million as compensation to be paid by Red Bull to the customers who purchased a can of Red Bull between 2002 to 2014 in America.

They were entitled to a USD $ 10 cash payout.

It was an embarrassing loss for the company. 

After this, Red Bull decided to change their slogan.

Red Bull Gives you WINGS was replaced with Red Bull Gives you WIIINGS

Now if someone is upset for not growing wings, Red Bull can defend themselves because they don’t promise to give you WINGS, they promise WIIINGS.
