Drones have planted one million mangrove seeds in Abu Dhabi.

 Drones have planted one million mangrove seeds in Abu Dhabi.

The initiative supports the UAE's target of planting 100 million mangroves by 2030.

Drones are engineered to drop seedlings from the air.

They also monitor the growth of saplings and create 3D images.

The mangroves were planted at different locations around Al Mirfa in Dhafra region

The initiative was announced when UK's Prince William visited UAE.
